Martin Audio has announced that experienced audio engineer and production manager Jay Eigenmann has joined the company’s product support team.
Based in New York, Eigenmann has built a strong relationship with the company and its teams over the years—first as a freelance engineer, and later through the installation of a Martin Audio sound system at (Le) Poisson Rouge (LPR) in Greenwich Village, New York. Serving as Production Director and lead sound engineer at LPR, Eigenmann oversaw the deployment of extensive Martin Audio solutions at the venue.
The LPR installation provided an opportunity to gain in-depth familiarity with the brand’s design and software tools. Reflecting on that experience, Eigenmann says:
“In general, it wasn’t the first project where I specified Martin Audio, but it was the first installation where I chose it.”
Following this, he continued working regularly with the company on a freelance basis, supporting service work, live events, and system commissioning. He has also continued to work with Martin Audio systems across many sites and installations, specifying them in his projects.
“I’ve always enjoyed working with MA systems,” he says. “I admire the brand’s products, its unique philosophy, and its team.”
In his new role, Jay Eigenmann will primarily provide product and application support across the Americas. This will include design assistance, service calls, system commissioning, event support, and training.
Summarizing his new position, he says:
“It’s a great time to be at Martin Audio… We have the strongest product range we’ve ever had and an exciting vision for the near future. I’m really looking forward to being part of that.”
Looking ahead, he adds:
“As I focus on this new role, my goal is to combine the skills I’ve developed as an engineer to help bring the unique capabilities of our systems and the advantages of our tools to a wider audience… and to bring people together around great sound.”
