Jaipur-based, long-established rental company Chopra Sound has taken a major step forward by purchasing 24 Martin Audio flagship WPL line array cabinets. This investment will completely redefine the family-run company’s large-scale event productions across northwestern Rajasthan.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the company placed its order—together with 16 SXH218 (2×18”) subwoofers and 10 iKON amplifiers—through VMT, Martin Audio’s sole distributor in India. VMT emphasizes that the scale of the system enables Chopras to cover even the largest venues with ease, delivering consistent clarity and intelligibility to every listener:
“This massive deployment allows them to take on projects of unprecedented scale without compromising on quality.”
Puneet Chopra, Founder and Director of Chopra Sound, explains the impact of the decision:
“Choosing Martin Audio has given us a clear competitive advantage in the market. The WPL line arrays truly impress clients with their scale and clarity, while the SXH218 subwoofers deliver power that audiences can physically feel. The stability of the iKON iK42 amplifiers ensures consistent results at every event. This system has strengthened our reputation for excellence, expanded our opportunities, and positioned us for long-term growth.”
Jeff Mandot, Director at VMT, adds:
**“We are proud to welcome Chopras into the Martin Audio family. This decision reflects a relationship built on trust and shared values. That trust will enable them to deliver every event with complete confidence, knowing the system will perform flawlessly every time.
“With such a comprehensive deployment, Chopras have not only future-proofed their inventory but also positioned themselves as a leader capable of handling the region’s most prestigious productions—further reinforcing their reputation as an innovative, bold, and reliable partner in India’s rapidly growing live sound industry.”**
